Conditions of payment
Courses should be paid before the starting date.
Cancellation of private lessons should be 24 hours in advance.
Refunds are not in our remit. However we do offer flexibility when it comes to planning your course.
A private or group language course has to be taken within the agreed period.
All private language courses are valid, after payment, for one year only. So the time between the invoice date and the final lesson of the private course may not exceed 12 months.

General information on payment of language courses
We live in a knowledge based society. Knowledge is transferred through language. This is very much at the heart of Dutch government legislation. That legislation includes a variety of policies such as:
- TAX breaks for language courses. Hold on to your invoice for your language classes and ask your tax advisor how to claim back on your language course. Please contact Nick Walker; he can pass on details of a TAX advisor, with excellent references.
- If you are unemployed, and language is a barrier between you and your next job, then the UWV can help you out with a private budget for Dutch classes up to €2000. Please contact the UWV and ask for a few pointers.
- Language courses with Dutch & Such are free of VAT. Because Dutch & Such is an accredited language school we are exempt from charging our customers 19% VAT. Dutch & Such is registered with the CRKBO. (The central register for short-term education)
